My Paradise – Wanda Williams
My paradise my home of a haven was rocked today!!
We have a fence that divides the property where we live to paddocks, with views to die for your eyes can stretch out to the hills in the distance it’s just beautiful, over the boundary fence at the opposite side of the property is a main road the hustle & bustle of life whizzes past the noise from the road sounds very chaotic.
Back on the paddock side of the fence lives a herd of beautiful cows with their wee calves at foot, amongst the herd lived two steers, lovely large beasts with kind gentle souls, every morning my routine is to pick up the horse poo left behind by my pampered horse family, while my three dogs scampered around finding new scents to track from the day before, peace, bliss, the cows would wander over to say good morning & I would greet them & tell them all how lovely they are, just perfect. The closeness you get when spending time with these creatures is amazing whatever kind energy I gave out it was returned tenfold.
Today there was a twist, getting into my daily routine, giving praise to my horses, dogs & cow friends a truck pulled up, out jumped a bloke with a gun, shot both steers dead while his cow family watched on just metres away, the energy & fear impacted the herd with ripple effects which filtered its way across the paddock to my four legged animal family, while the cows with their babies circled each other wondering which one of them was next, my beautiful animal family picked up the fear & ran, horses thumping the ground to try & correct the vibrational energy, my dogs went all directions looking for a safe place to hide, total fear!!
To my astonishment the drama unfolding did not stop there, sadly while the herd watched on meters ahead of them the two steers were skinned & cut up all the while the herd looked on, what was left behind once the men had gone was a pool of blood nothing else.
What a shock for us all, so very sad some people have a total unawareness of just how sensitive animals are how alarming that was to stand witness not just me but to see the impact it had on all of the animals around me, to watch the herd cluster around the blood that remained was very moving, the little calves lying in the blood while their mothers circled them, their own way of paying their respects, my horses gathered with my dogs standing beside them watching the cows & calves, holding the vibration trying to settle down the emotion, calming down the energy till there was peace.
It made me wonder how animals must see us two legged beings, the fear that they felt the shock & horror, some people are very foolish to think animals have no feelings, what I witnessed what I felt the energy that came across that paddock & hit me & my animals was like a shock wave, it saddens me to think we have lost our respect we have lost our emotion our responsibility as humans not to have the dignity & respect to honour all that is on this planet, some that walk this earth plain have a lot to learn, sometimes the rest of us take the responsibility for the thoughtless few that walk among us !!
